چکیده

Energy consumption is increasing yearly all over the world due to increase in population and demand of energy. The largely depends on a hydroelectric energy supply, thermal electric supply which non-renewable resources. Nevertheless, resources are rapidly decreasing per year rate consumption. quest for discovery another abundant resource has attracted many scientists into development renewable technologies like photovoltaic technology that convert solar radiation electricity. For past several years, different devices inorganic, organic, hybrid cells have been invented using methods application purposes. Moreover, high conversion efficiency silicon cells, cost module complicated production processes involved restricted commercialization as means electricity supply. Among organic Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) most efficient, low easily implemented technology. This review paper focuses clarifying technological meaning structure DSSCs, Various types DSSCs materials, working electrode mechanism DSSC, transparent conductive substrate, nanocrystalline semiconductor film electrode, photosensisitizer (dye), electrolyte, carbon layer zinc oxide (ZnO) layer, zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) benefits application, challenges research upgrade current efficiency.

Thermal stress effects on Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs)

Please cite this article in press as: Bari D et al. j.microrel.2011.07.061 Since the DSSCs gain heat during exposure to sunlight increasing its own temperature, we have studied the role of temperature on the degradation of DSSCs. We have performed pure thermal stresses keeping the devices at a constant temperature inside a climatic chamber and monitoring the electrical parameters during stress....

The dye-sensitized solar cell database.

BACKGROUND Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have garnered a lot of attention in recent years. The solar energy to power conversion efficiency of a DSSC is influenced by various components of the cell such as the dye, electrolyte, electrodes and additives among others leading to varying experimental configurations. A large number of metal-based and metal-free dye sensitizers have now been repo...

Interaction of YD2 and TiO₂ in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs): a density functional theory study.

The interaction of the dye YD2 with a cluster of (anatase-phase) TiO2 (which is utilized in dye-sensitized solar cells, DSSCs) and electron injection by the dye into the cluster were studied by performing density functional theory (DFT) calculations at the B3LYP, PBE, and TPSS levels of theory, including dispersion effects. We studied and quantified the interaction of the metallomacrocycle with...

Carbonaceous Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cell Photoelectrodes

High photovoltaic efficiency is one of the most important keys to the commercialization of dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) in the quickly growing renewable electricity generation market. The heart of the DSSC system is a wide bandgap semiconductor based photoelectrode film that helps to adsorb dye molecules and transport the injected electrons away into the electrical circuit. However, charg...
